Merry Christmas 2013

~ Merry Christmas 2013 ~

As u see the crowd in the picture , yes ! We went to the Christmas Market on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées !! :D

This is the largest Christmas market in Paris. The market stretches from the Champs-Elysées roundabout (Metro Champs Elysées-Clémenceau) to the Place de la Concorde (Metro Concorde). Actually it open from November 15th, 2013 through January 5th, 2014, but we choose to come here on the Christmas Day :D Moreover, it open daily from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.

All the stalls having a beautiful decoration and you may found some interesting goods :)

Wonder why there have a microwave ?
Throw in any doll into it 2 minutes then u can hug them warmly in cold weather like this :D

" Each year during the festive season, the various districts in Paris are decorated with Christmas lightsand festive decorations. In the 8th arrondissement, the decorations on the Avenue des Champs Elysées are the most exceptional and impressive in the whole city. The 200 plane trees of the Champs-Elysées in Paris are illuminated each year with a clever lighting design. Glittering garlands and rings around the trees (with red, green and blue LEDs), run the length - 2.4 km - of the Champs Elysées, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. Every half hour, the 4,000 garlands and the rings slowly change colour, from white to purple and then red. "

So, we was there during the time when the garlands and the rings was in blue and white color.

We had lots of fun in the market. It's was awesome that we can spent our Christmas night here. It doesn't mean that we went anywhere but "Christmas in Paris" , the thing itself is already like a dream came true :)

Still, at last but not least,
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Happy Christmas Eve

2013's Christmas was special enough because I spent it in the city that I've been living for 3 months -- Paris.
Actually all the Paris was quiet during the night of Christmas Eve. The street didn't lively and can't even see a car. I think it's because all the people stay at home warmly, eating turkey and changing gift with their family.

We hardly found a lil cute restaurant with beautiful Christmas decoration.
So here it is, L'arlecchino 5, the place we took our dinner during this special 24th night.

One of us was missing in this picture because the cute manager wanna his mini Christmas tree get in this picture xD

Hello December

Wearing my favorite striped sweater <3

Hello December.
Nice to meet you again because that means Christmas is coming really soon with my Holiday. haha It's 19 December and I already have a great plan for it :D
I'm very excited for the holidays, counting my fingers, waiting for my liberation day but yet, worry about the time doesn't enough for me because,  I still have lots of works haven finish and have to present it at the end of the term. (Yesss I'm veryyy contradictory)

So, here it is :

A half-tailored haute couture jacket

Madamme Gres haute couture dress (It's my size)

The bone corset (It's my size too)

All hand-made portfolio , with 2 garments for my collection
(sorry I didn't take pictures of them)
and some beads or embroidery for textiles class.

Time passed really fast when you focus and works on a thing. Sometimes I really think that what if I can use " kage bun shin noji yutsu " ? Then everything is easy for me. Lol. Btw, just receive an email from my teacher and she that we have our Art History presentation on next week ... ... Hmm ... Just wish that everything will be fine before my dear precious holiday.

Gotta start my engine and work hard now.
Wish me luck
